What is Euro Fest
Our Euro Fest aims to be the first of its kind; to grow the outreach of Masters Rugby League, by inviting Rugby League clubs from around Europe and further afield to create a Masters team and come and visit us for a round-robin festival. Any club and any country is welcome, but we do have limits around capacity. So, get your name confirmed soon, if you haven't already.
How Will it Work?
Each club will be assigned to a group. Each team in the group will play each other, in a series of shortened Masters games. The aim would be that each team plays three games. Every effort will be made to keep clubs from the same country separate and we guarantee no more than two teams from the same group in each group.
Where is it?
The inaugural edition of this festival will be hosted in Malahide, Dublin, Ireland. Malahide is a seaside town in northern Dublin, 17km from the city centre. It is accessible from the city via bus and DART and by bus from the airport.
Where will we stay?
Leinster Warriors have an affiliation with Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge. We have reserved up to 50 rooms for the weekend in question, at discounted rates (available on request.) If you wish to explore camping, hostel and guest house accommodation, we are happy to assist you with that too.
How Much Will it Cost Us?
Other than your flights and accommodation, we are asking for just €100/£83/AU$162 per team entry, to help fund the festival. Food will be supplied outside, via the club's mobile catering unit and we will have the use of the club bar for the entire day and for the evening afterwards.
